TYR is dedicated to placing Alabama research material on the WWW for access to those interested in Alabama history &/or genealogy.

The Franklin's of Covington County, Alabama are planning their 2010 family reunion. We are presently updating our mailing list, so family members please email us at trackingyourroots@gmail.com to verify that we have a correct current address for you. This year we are expanding our reunion to include all Franklins from the Franklin DNA Project's FY2 group, which are proven Franklin relatives, so please get us your email and snail mail contact information so we can keep everyone informed as plans are set. We will have our date/location announcement in early September to allow plenty of time for family to plan to attend.

Some of you may have had trouble accessing this page due to the site exceeding it's bandwidth limits last month. My aplogies for the inconvenience & I have had bandwidth upgraded and hopefully it will not be a problem again in the future. It's nice to know the site is getting a lot of use and apparently helping many folks with their genealogy/history research.

The 1866 Conecuh county state census has started going online & the 1917 Hale County dog tax list & 1880 Bullock county poll lists are now done and online.
