From downtown Jemison, AL--approx 7 mi to cemetery. Turn off Hwy 31 onto Co Rd 42 (center of Jemison) and go to 4-way stop at Union Grove Church turn right. Go until you see Mineral Springs Baptist Church on left--cemetery is across the road, out a narrow lane, with a fence on both sides. Easily seen from Mineral Springs Rd.

On march 21, 1932, the second tornado in a week hit Stanton and killed seven members of the Jack Latham family. A pit grave was dug large enough to place seven caskets inside. The funeral service was held outside Ebenezer church. Fifty something people were killed that week. One of Jack Latham's children (Woodard) had passed in 1923 and was already buried there. They have one headstone for all of them.
