Lisa, the following is a list of men who enlisted in the Al Coast Guard shortly   after Lincoln's inaugeration. (Mar 4, 1860) They were supposedly one of the first volunteer units of the Confederate services in the state. These men signed up for 12 months. At the end of the 12 months they disbanded and most joined the various Confederate Calvary Units, in and around Mobile.  From records located in the Al Archives.
