1832 - In 1831 a resolution was adopted that the next Communication of the

Grand Lodge should be held on the first

Monday in January thereafter, consequently the Grand Lodge did not

meet in 1832.

1835 - In January, 1834, a resolution was adopted changing the

Communications of the Grand Lodge back to

December, but if the Grand Lodge met in December, 1834 and 1835, the

records of those Communications have been

lost; and in December, 1836, the members of the Grand Lodge that met

in Tuscaloosa declared the Grand Lodge

extinct, and proceeded to form a new Grand Lodge by the adoption of

a Constitution and the election of

Grand Officers.
