I have always wondered what it would be like to visit the memorial of the Vietnam Veteran's, to read the names of the men and women who served our country. I have seen the pictures on TV in the news of people visiting it and there has always been a solemn feeling come over me. Today, I visited the Memorial on the lawn of the Escambia County Courthouse in Brewton, AL . This Memorial is dedicated to the men and women of Escambia County who have served their country. I have often seen this memorial but never stopped and really looked at it. Today, I shared the feeling of the thousands of people who have visited Memorials such as this all over the Nation. It's a feeling of pride, compassion, respect and reverence. I am very grateful to the People of Escambia County for erecting this monument.
The memorial is in five sections below are the inscriptions on each section.
