(We stopped by Farmerville, Union Parrsih, LA and copied the tombstones in the Shady Grove Cemetery that Patterson Rogers donated the land and is buried. There are three different spellings of his first name. And his tombstone says he is born in Covington County, AL. Location: From Ruston, LA, traveling HWY 33,North to Farmerville, LA, turn right on Hwy 2 - go 6.7/10 miles. Turn right on Joe Rogers Road. Go 9/10 mile. Turn left on West Point Union Road and go 1/10 mile to Shady Grove Cemetery on right side of road.
