  26. Notes of Charles Pinkney Franklin, 1903, Benton Co., AR. Charles Pinkney Franklin presented information on his family in a "Mud" Book published in Benton County, Ark This book was published in 1903 and Charles Pinkney died in 1902. We believe that it took probably 4 years to contact people to present their family information and to have the correct pictures of sections of land in the county. Charles Pinkney Franklin states"My Grandfather was born in England, My father (Josiah) was born in Georgia. I was born in Greene County, Al. We are also kin to the Great Doctor Franklin. (Some have suggested that he was referring to Benjamin Franklin). He listed who he married and listed all of his children including their birthdays.
